The setting isn't terribly different from where it all began: a dank rehearsal studio in an ugly industrial nook of New York.
On this sooty winter morning, the original members of
the quintessential Noo Yawk group Blondie have gathered in a studio not
far from their '70s birthplace on the beat-up Bowery. They've come together
again for some fine-tuning: They're about to embark
on a quick Australian reunion tour following an appearance on...[the] American
Music Awards.
The TV gig will mark Blondie's first televised
appearance in nearly 17 years. It also serves
as a call to arms for the band's comeback
campaign, highlighted by an album of
all-new material, "No Exit"....
