A balanced review of Deborah Harry’s performance with the Jazz Passengers in September 1994, still relatively early in her stint with the band.-Ed.
 

While a good portion of the crowd was drawn to this show to see ex-Blondie Deborah Harry (they cheered wildly when the new-wave diva graced the stage and tossed her kisses and a bouquet of roses), there was a strong contingent in the sold-out house intent on making the best of a rare West Coast opportunity to catch the quirky, experimental Jazz Passengers. Fans kept calling for old tunes, but saxophonist Roy Nathanson responded that even he couldn’t remember how they went....
