I have had great luck in meeting people who know Debbie and have made arrangements to greet or speak to her at several events. Working with a friend of her father from New York, Frank Bittles, I was able to contact her dad after he was notified and asked that I might chat with him for the fanzines.

I was involved in sharing information and updates with Barry Kramer and April Kincaid during the pre-www.blondie.net days. Days of fanzines like Fan Mail where Barry was the writer/publisher. Now, they work personally with the band and I keep in professional and friendly contact.

I have met Debbie and Blondie members five times and had the pleasure of sitting with Debbie after filming a set of two Jazz Passengers shows in D.C., (she allowed me personally beforehand to videotape two shows) and completing the lifelong ambition of explaining, in an unhurried situation, exactly what she and Blondie have meant to me....
