Believe it or not, the life of a photojournalist
is far from glamorous. Sure, we often get to photograph international stars,
hang out at some of the coolest parties, and travel. But we are also herded
around by the P.R. people like cattle, forced to crowd behind barricades
in front of red carpets hoping the celebrity we were hired to shoot decides
to stop by and pose for us. To the entertainment business, we are a necessary
evil often treated with suspicion. My experience with the members of Blondie
was a wonderful and rare exception....
