I was merely a junior college student covering for my college paper one of the best concerts I'd seen to date back in 1989. The Country Club in Reseda, California was the place and although nervous, I managed to get some images of Deborah Harry I could be proud of....

Debbie did a solo concert at the Long Beach Convention Center as part of the Long Beach Gay Pride Festival. Debbie came out wearing what she described as a "cheap wig," which she ended up throwing out to the audience. Her entrance was breathtaking....
