"This was a critical show for the band--possibly the most important of its existence....Had the Town Hall show gone sour, it would have been Blondie's last chapter. It didn't, and it won't be." (Aquilante)

"...a kiss blown to the crowd, a hand coyly holding her chin. In the waning moments of some songs, she a mini-history of New York Rock, from arm-waving hully-gully to shoulder-shaking hip-hop....Blondie has proven that its songs, and the emotions they harbor, have outlasted their original moment."  "WPLJ/95.5 FM would have been hard pressed to find a less suitable spot than Town Hall for Blondie's comeback gig. Bright, clean and elegant, with cushy seats, it offered none of the boisterous, seedy charm of the dives like CBGB from which the band shot to fame. But Blondie treated the sedate setting like a club, hitting the ground running and rarely flagging as it tossed off two dozen dance tunes old and new that combined snappy pop with downtown attitude." (Tayler)

"...Blondie...plays a concert as if it were 1979 and the New Wave were still new. Blondie on ice for more than 17 years showed no signs of freezer burn in a terrific fans' concert Tuesday at Town Hall...." (Aquilante)

"When Deborah Harry strutted onstage at Town Hall Tuesday night in a skin-tight black-and-red number accessorized by some serious mules, it was as if Blondie had picked up where it left off." (Perry)
